If you want a low price system that sounds high end. This is a match made in heaven.
For what I paid compared to the Klipsch set I was looking at was a steal. Even if the Klipsch set did sound a little better I would still get these.
These speakers are very nice. I use a Onkyo TX-SR606 to drive the speakers.
I actually like these better. The subwoofer fills my big open concept living room really nicely.
The speakers them selves are very classy and look and feel like they cost 3 times what you paid for them. Get these speakers.
Goes great with my 40" Samsung LCD TV. I was hesitant to go with this setup, but I am so glad that I did. Paired these up with the Onkyo TX-SR706 and I loved every minute of installation and setup. First off, I only paid $399 for this set and now I see that it has gone up in price so that tells me that people are liking them and buying them. The black piano finish is so elegant and classy. No issues whatsoever.Only thing is was that they were a little bigger then expected, but I don't know, is that really a bad thing. :)
Delivery was slow, speakers were broke on inside, and US postoffice was zero help. with that in mind these speakers still worked, they sound fantastic, and I can easily recommend them to a friend.BIG SOUND, clear. and IMO could easily sound great in a big 20x20 roomMusic as well as DVDS sound great. If you are looking for an inexpensive surround sound speaker package, YOU can"T go wrong here.
I took a chance on this system and wow I I'm so impressed. This system sounds amazing, clear highs, and excellent imaging. I looked at many system and in the end I needed a small compact speakersystem. Have a wonderful Polk Audio RT 5000 system that sadly I have to sell.I knew finding a replacement speaker system was going to be tough. I have them in a fairly large room and they seem to hold their own quite well.I did add a second Energy Sub and have them set low. I read all the good reviews on this and others sites. I talked to an audio sales man who didn't have good things to say about Energy speakers. Overall for around $588.00 I feel I have a killer little system. I paid $5000 for the Polks.won't do that again.
I was thrilled when y look and heard the the energy take classic 5.1 sond, because is so small and it thas a terrrific sound.
